The design of the stage and the amphi-theatre is a response to the site which has a split level, with multiple mature trees. While the client brief was to create a stage, the  design looks at the masterplan and negotiates the level difference with an amphitheatre, allowing for incidental gatherings. Thereby, the residual movement corridor on the site has become a habitable pausal space for children and adults alike.
