At the heart of the proposal for student housing (2000 students+90 staff) is a contemporary interpretation of a stepped well, with a civic plaza on one side and wood park on the other. The entire lower ground is thus a freely accessible public space. Hostel blocks rise above this activated lower ground, creating at once a socio-communal space as well as an ecological device below to support a thriving and large student community within the campus.
