Located in the hot and humid climatic zone, the house derives techniques from traditional systems to moderate high temperature and humidity with screens strategically placed for cross ventilation, load bearing laterite masonry designed to provide thermal mass and deep overhanging sloping roofs to combat the intense monsoons.
