The entrance pavilion to a gated community is designed to act as a sales pavilion in the initial period to be later converted into a multi-functional space once the community is inhabited. Designed on a tight plot adjoining the gate, the tower becomes a marker, with a double height entry portal. The urban edge is a porous, congregational amphi-theatre while the internal volume is meant for discussions. The double height, exposed concrete column and two storey tower heighten the entrance, while the horizontal plane of the roof slab scales the open space and pavilion behind.
